We’re looking for a Roblox Animator who not only understands the technical workflow of Roblox Studio but also has the creativity, mindset, and growth potential to evolve into a well-rounded game animator. You’ll be animating characters, NPCs, weapons, and emotes for our Roblox titles, while also learning and contributing to the studio’s long-term creative goals.
Responsibilities
- Create and polish R15/ R6 animations (movement cycles, emotes, combat, NPC behaviors, cinematic intros…)
- Work with rigs and Motor6D to implement animations in Roblox Studio.
- Collaborate closely with scripters (Lua) and designers/modelers to ensure smooth integration into gameplay.
- Maintain style consistency across all assets while experimenting with new techniques and approaches.
- Provide creative input on how characters should move, feel, and express emotions. Be open to learning beyond Roblox (animation pipelines in Unity/ Unreal/ Blender for future projects).
- Take feedback positively and show initiative in suggesting improvements.
Yêu cầu
- Hands-on experience in Roblox Studio Animation Editor (or Moon Animator plugin).
- Familiarity with Motor6D, Animator objects, and rigging workflow in Roblox.
- Strong grasp of the 12 Principles of Animation (timing, weight, exaggeration, etc.).
- At least one portfolio/ demo reel with Roblox animation samples (movement, emotes, or combat).
- Good communication skills (e.g., Discord, DevForum) and a willingness to collaborate in a team.
- Growth mindset: eager to learn new tools, styles, and workflows beyond Roblox.
- Strong responsibility: delivers on time, asks questions, and adapts when challenges come up.
- Having gaming sense or Roblox sense is a plus.
