Job Description
The Opportunity:
The Associate Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of Vietnam local HR operations. Translate Mattel’s HR strategy into locally relevant plans to attract, develop, advance, and engage employees within the organization.
What Your Impact Will Be:
- Work closely with regional HR to ensure the strategies and initiatives are consistently delivered in Vietnam
- Partner with local leadership team to cultivate a culture of accountability through rigorous goal setting and performance measurement
- Implement talent development programs for the Vietnam office (e.g., workforce planning, performance management process, and organizational development);
- Partner closely with the business to foster a high-performing culture, enhance employee engagement, and support business growth.
- Build talent pipeline through campus engagement to support business expansion in Vietnam
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in compliance with Vietnamese labor laws.
- Manage local Talent Acquisition, onboarding, employee communication
- Manage local payroll, partner with COE team to manage employee benefits and compensation packages
- Build Engagement with employee families and drive local ERGs to create an inclusive workplace
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s degree a plus
- 8+ years’ experience in HR
- Comprehensive organizational development and change management experience
- Experience implementing programs in workforce planning, talent management, compensation, employee relations, training & development, and legal/compliance
- Knowledge of HR legal practices and employee relations skills
- Ability to build and facilitate trusted business partnerships across multiple functional groups
- Thrives in a consumer facing, global, matrix working environment
- Data driven, organizational, and problem-solving capability with growth mindset towards change.
