Job Description

POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a dynamic and creative Associate Social Manager to join our team. This role will focus on developing and executing influencer strategies, social seeding initiatives, and fostering community development across our social media platforms. The ideal candidate will have a passion for social activities, a deep understanding of influencer marketing, and a knack for building and nurturing online communities.

PRIMARY ACTIVITIES:

Influencer Strategy

  • Identify and Engage Influencers: Research and identify key influencers in our industry who align with our brand values and target audience.
  • Develop Influencer Partnerships: Create and manage partnerships with influencers to promote our products/services, ensuring alignment with marketing goals.
  • Content Collaboration: Collaborate with influencers to create authentic and engaging content that resonates with their audience while promoting our brand.
  • Trend Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging influencers to continuously refine our influencer strategy.

Social Seeding

  • Content Distribution: Develop and implement social seeding strategies to distribute content across various platforms, maximizing reach and engagement.
  • Target Audience Identification: Identify and target key audiences for content seeding, ensuring alignment with brand messaging and goals.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyse the performance of seeded content, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Collaboration with Influencers: Work with influencers to amplify seeded content, leveraging their networks for greater visibility.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on social seeding efforts, including insights on engagement metrics and audience reach.

Community Development

  • Community Engagement: Foster a vibrant online community by actively engaging with followers, responding to comments, and facilitating discussions.
  • Content Creation: Develop and curate content that encourages community interaction and showcases user-generated content.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather and analyse community feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Monitoring and Reporting: Track community growth and engagement metrics, providing regular reports to the marketing team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: 3+ years of experience in social media management, with a focus on influencer marketing, social seeding, and community development.

Skills:

  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, Facebook, etc.) and their respective audiences.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to generate innovative ideas for campaigns and community engagement.

Knowledge: Familiarity with current trends in social media, influencer marketing, and content seeding strategies.
