Job Description
We are looking for an Automation Tester eager to take on new challenges and make a real impact. Join one of the most dynamic and large-scale payment projects in the industry, where you’ll enhance your automation testing expertise and gain deep exposure to the payments domain. From day one, you’ll contribute meaningfully while working alongside domain experts and adopting industry best practices.
As an Automation Tester at Endava, you will play a key role in building, developing, and executing automated tests to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications and contributing to the full software testing lifecycle. Collaborating closely with global stakeholders, you’ll support Agile development efforts and play a key role in delivering new products that meet customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing users stories, use cases and requirements.
- Collaborate closely with other team members and departments to define the test cases.
- Execute all levels of testing.
- Design, develop, maintain and extend automation scripts using various frameworks and programming languages.
- Detect and track software defects and inconsistencies.
- Apply quality engineering principles throughout the Agile product life cycle.
- Provide support and documentation.
Qualifications
Technical Skills:
- Overall 3+ years of working experiences in Testing, with 1-2 years working in Automation Testing.
- Knowledge of automation testing experience in both front-end and back-end.
- Assisted in building and maintaining automation testing frameworks as part of a team.
- Deeply understanding about testing concept and having coding experience with one of languages (Java, C#, JavaScript)
- Experience in Web Services/API automated testing and REST API testing tools.
- Knowledge with Azure/AWS DevOps pipelines to set up automated builds and enable CI/CD.
- Basic knowledge in SQL.
Soft Skills:
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment.
- Ability to identify, analyze and troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Comfortable working in English-speaking environments with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
