We are looking for a highly analytical and business-minded Commercial Planning Assistant Manager/ Manager to join our team. This role combines data analysis, market intelligence, pricing strategy, and sourcing capability to support cross-border import operations into Vietnam. You will transform data and insights into actionable commercial proposals, helping the company make informed decisions and drive business growth.
What You Will Do
Data Analysis & Insights:
- Analyze large datasets covering sales performance, customer behavior, and market trends to generate actionable insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards and regular reports to support strategic and operational decision-making.
Market & Product Intelligence:
- Research market trends, consumer needs, competitor strategies, and pricing benchmarks both in Vietnam and in international markets.
- Identify and evaluate new product opportunities for cross-border import.
Pricing Strategy:
- Develop and recommend pricing strategies that balance competitiveness, profitability, and local market conditions.
- Monitor pricing trends and ensure imported products remain attractive and aligned with commercial objectives.
Sourcing Capability:
- Collaborate with sourcing and procurement teams to identify reliable suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Evaluate suppliers and product feasibility, including cost structures, quality standards, and supply stability.
Cross-border Product Planning:
- Coordinate feasibility studies and go-to-market plans for new imported products, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese regulations.
- Partner with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize import processes and lead times.
Business Proposal & Commercial Planning:
- Prepare data-driven business proposals and commercial plans for new product launches and market entry strategies.
- Build financial models, cost-benefit analyses, and scenario plans to support business decisions.
Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams (sales, marketing, supply chain, sourcing) and external partners to ensure alignment on commercial plans and execution
Who You Are
- A recognized university degree.
- Proficiency in Vietnamese & English.
- At least 3 years of working experience in customer relations in e-commerce fields, i.e. retail, FMCG, sales, and marketing.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills; advanced Excel skills required, and experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus.
- Solid understanding of cross-border trade, import/export processes, and pricing dynamics.
- Good business acumen with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent organization and documentation skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, task management systems).
- Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
