The role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining secure and compliant cloud-based solutions on AWS. You will also be responsible for working with other engineers to automate security and compliance checks, and to implement security best practices.
What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and maintain secure and compliant cloud-based solutions on AWS
- Work with other engineers to automate security and compliance checks
- Implement security best practices
- Stay up-to-date on the latest AWS security and compliance features and services
- Work with other teams to ensure that security is a top priority in all aspects of the development and deployment process
- Communicate security risks and mitigation strategies to stakeholders
What you'll bring to the team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in software development
- 3+ years of experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM), AWS Key Management Service (KMS), AWS Security Groups, AWS CloudTrail, AWS Inspector, and other AWS security features and services.
- Experience with security and compliance in a cloud environment is a plus
- Strong programming skills in Python (Java or Go is a plus)
- Experience with cloud computing
- Experience with Agile development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
