Your role
The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for managing task requests, content optimisation and publishing for the portfolio and relevant University stakeholders. Digital Marketing Coordinator will advise on content management, best practice web guidelines, implementation of the adobe-marketing suite to improve user experience on RMIT digital assets, web statistics analysis and search engine optimisation under supervision.
It is also this role’s responsibility to maintain and update best practice content on the website that is simple, accessible and helps achieve acquisition targets as well as enhance customer experience, under supervision.

Reports to: Web Marketing Manager
Key Accountabilities
- Be part of a team of motivated, engaged and professionals who are proactive advisors and deliver outstanding digital support to the university through industry-leading web capability, delivery agility and a team culture.
- The Digital Marketing Coordinator is the main point of contact for RMIT web enquiries for public site web publishing enquiries.
- Manage, priorities and complete content change requests with management of stakeholder relationships. Manage the work queue and BAU publishing on RMIT public and staff website.
- Undertake content remediation, including content archiving and deletion, content mapping and content improvement.
- Role model the RMIT values and be an active member of the Web team.
Marketing and Content Architecture and Management
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure content quality, relevance and accuracy;
- Maintain and improve working processes and Web guidelines;
- Provide best-practice advice and training to a range of internal stakeholders;
- Participate in the delivery of web projects, new initiatives, supporting key stakeholders across the university.
- Coordinate, publish, test and optimise the public website content to improve user experience and ensure that content remains up to date.
- Develop new marketing content whilst following RMIT guidelines and policies; digital best practices, digital accessibility, information architecture, as well as user and customer experience digital best practices.
- Continuously suggest marketing content improvement based on customer insights;
- Undertake content remediation, including content archiving and deletion, content mapping and content improvement.
- Improve RMIT Vietnam website for Search Engine Optimisation.
- Assist with performance marketing and event team landing page builds and optimisation for paid campaigns.
- Project management of small web team project
Monitoring and Evaluation and reporting
- Monitor customer journey and measure outcome based on agreed goals and KPIs;
- Produce concise analytical reports, and advise of new approaches to enhance customer experience through RMIT Vietnam Website;
- Provide data insight to optimize online promotion activities and campaign performance;
- Provide other support as defined by the Marketing Web Manager.
- Provide support and guidance to other members of the Web team.
Key Selection Criteria
- Experience in content authoring, editing and publishing (knowledge of accessibility, usability, writing for web guidelines, SEO and technical issues is well-regarded).
- Experience with content management systems (AEM preferred but not essential)
- Demonstrated experience in digital editing and web publishing (including knowledge of SEO, analytics, writing for web principles, accessibility, usability and technical issues)
- Experience building and maintaining effective and productive stakeholder relationships
- Demonstrated experience in understanding and reporting on site performance and analytics
- Demonstrated ability to apply policies, procedures and systems.
- Demonstrated experience in coordination of digital projects and campaigns including planning, communication, implementation, evaluation, and reporting.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as in a team environment to achieve objectives within complex organisational structures.
- Understanding of digital planning, delivery and measurement that contributed to organisational objectives.
- Understanding of new media and digital technology to improve outcomes.
- Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values

English Proficiency
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.0 (or equivalent Linguaskill 160).
