Overview

This role serves as a critical driver in accelerating business growth in short and mid-term with 3 core responsibilities:

  • To drive the strategy development, analysis, and planning of PEP’s short/mid term brands, portfolio and commercial agenda with the bottler, coordinating with multi-functions for the development of growth strategy in marketing, portfolio and commercial.
  • To lead the key franchise agendas of JBP, AOP and monthly business reviews with supports of Senior Franchise Director, working closely with the bottler stakeholders
  • To work with IB Franchise, PEP Asia OU and the bottler to tailor commercial capabilities building around AFH, perfect store & NRM
With Vietnam becoming an anchor market for IB, this role will support the Franchise Senior Director in the business analysis and strategy development of the high involvement agendas to build a stronger business with speed & focus

Responsibilities

  • Lead Joint Business Planning process with Bottler and cross functional teams with supports of Senior Franchise Director, collaborating with IB and OU functional teams
  • Create flawless partnership, relationship and operational process between PepsiCo and Pepsi Bottler in Vietnam (SPVB) to develop AOP plans
  • Lead the strategic commercial capability development of the bottler around AFH, Dx / Perfect store and NRM
  • Lead business analysis and performance management with the bottler & PEP teams on monthly/quarterly business performance to ensure plans are on track or needing pivots
  • Co-develop investment strategy with SPVB marketing team and lead COOP agreements
  • Develop innovation plan to expand portfolio and drive volume growth in a profitable way, move into strengthening the PepsiCo agenda
  • Manage new initiatives and projects in the market via close collaboration and partnership with respective functional experts, i.e. Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, etc.

Qualifications

Key skills and Experience
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic consulting or marketing preferably in FMCG in MNCs
  • Experience in Franchise business Model or strategic consulting will be a key advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and articulation of findings
  • Ability to analyse data for insights and present to stakeholders
  • Knowing the Business Cold with knowledge of franchise & beverage economics
  • Budget & Financial Management
  • Capability development skills
  • Collaborating & Influencing Skills: Ability to influence and move things along with the bottler
  • Win-win solutioning: Expert influence, negotiation, and perspective taking that results in mutual wins and maximum aligned impact.
