JOB SUMMARY/NHIỆM VỤ CHUNG
- The Hostess is responsible for greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive at the hotel’s restaurant or dining area. They ensure a warm and professional first impression, manage reservations, escort guests to their tables, and ensure that all guests are seated comfortably. The Hostess plays a key role in maintaining a positive atmosphere and excellent guest service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES/TRÁCH NHIỆM CÔNG VIỆC
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, provide them with information about the restaurant or dining options, and direct them to their tables.
- Maintain an organized reservation system, ensuring that all guest reservations are accurately recorded and managed.
- Escort guests to their assigned tables, ensuring that they are comfortable and settled before leaving them.
- Present menus to guests, inform them of daily specials, and answer any questions they may have about the menu.
- Ensure that all guests are seated in a timely manner and that tables are properly arranged and ready for new guests.
- During busy periods, manage a waitlist for guests, ensuring they are informed of wait times and seated as quickly as possible.
- Check in with guests during their dining experience to ensure they are comfortable and that all their needs are being met.
- Handle any special requests from guests, such as seating preferences or accommodations for special occasions.
- Ensure that the hostess station is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies, including menus and reservation lists.
- Work closely with the waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen team to ensure smooth operation and efficient service.

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
1. Educational Qualifications/ Trình độ học vấn
- High school diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
2. Work Experience/ Kinh nghiệm làm việc
- Previous experience as a server or receptionist, preferably in a hotel or restaurant environment.
3. Skills/ Kĩ năng
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Positive attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and handle difficult situations.
- Team-oriented with the ability to work well with others.
4. Language/ Ngôn ngữ
- Can communication in English.
