Job Description
Overall Objectives:
The ComLIMS Program (ComLIMS is derived from Communication and Laboratory Information Management System) consisting of two internally developed web applications and a range of additional services (reporting services, data services, Business Intelligence services), allow our internal customers, the Eurofins laboratories worldwide, to (cross-)sell their services offered to Eurofins customers. The ComLIMS Program is at the heart of Eurofins strategy of cross-selling and competence centres. Components of the Program and its data are used by most Eurofins applications making the ComLIMS Program a key Program at Eurofins ensuring among others efficient end-to-end sales and production processes.
In a nutshell
Following Eurofins growth and sales and production process standardisation activities, we are looking for a Business Analyst.
The main objective of this position is to follow up on the complete lifecycle of ComLIMS bug reports and request for changes. This includes analysing new topics submitted by the key stakeholders of the ComLIMS Program, proposing solutions to implement them, following up on their development, testing them, documenting them, etc.
How can you help us?
Specific Assignments:
- Collect, identify, analyse and formalize requirements from key stakeholders
- Writing of specifications for requirements assigned
- Creation of user stories for requirements assigned
- Follow up on technical implementation and qualification of the developments
- Active participation within the Product’s Scrums Teams consisting of around 4 business analysts, 12 developers, 7 QA engineers and support functions like Product Owner, Product Manager, Architect, Development Manager) (User Story creation, refinement, Scrum meetings, etc.)
- Ensure successful qualification and deployment of CLQ Releases in production environments
- Cooperation with the ComLIMS/ADMS Release and Operations Team
- Support the CL/ADMS L2 Support team in their support of the CL Applications (i.e. L3 support)
- Management of documentation: online help, release notes, customer forum, functional documentation, etc.
- Remote training for key stakeholders

Personal Skills:
- Excellent listening and communication skills (oral and written)

Education Background:
- Master’s degree in science (preferably Chemistry or Biology) or engineering degree (bio-engineer, commercial engineer or civil engineer).
Language skills and level expected:
- English (fluent) required.
- Other European languages are a plus.
Technical knowledge:
- Experience with Scrum is a plus
- Experience with UML is an asset
- Knowledge of SQL is an asset
Type and duration of previous experience:
- 3-5 years of professional experience as an IT Business Analyst.
