Junior Script Writer (Motion Graphics) (8 months project)

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Junior Script Writer who specializes in crafting narratives for motion graphics videos. The ideal candidate has a knack for translating complex ideas into clear, concise, and visually-driven scripts. You will work closely with our creative directors, designers, and animators to develop a range of content, including animated explainer videos, product demos, social media ads, and brand stories. • Scriptwriting: Write clear, compelling, and well-structured scripts for a wide range of motion graphics projects, ensuring the narrative is perfectly timed with visual elements.
• Concept Development: Collaborate with the creative team to brainstorm and develop original concepts and story angles that align with client goals and brand identity.
• Research: Conduct thorough research on various topics, products, and services to ensure scripts are accurate, informative, and engaging for the target audience.
• Collaboration: Work hand-in-hand with graphic designers and animators, providing them with detailed scripts that include voice-over narration, on-screen text, and specific visual cues or scene descriptions.
• Adaptation: Tailor writing style and tone to suit different brands, platforms (e.g., web, social media, internal communications), and project objectives.
• Revisions & Feedback: Incorporate feedback from internal stakeholders and clients, refining scripts through multiple drafts to achieve the perfect final product.
• Storyboarding: Assist in the storyboarding process, helping to visualize the script's flow and pacing.
• Stay Current: Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in video marketing, storytelling, and motion graphics to ensure our content remains fresh and effective.

• Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing, Screenwriting, or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in scriptwriting, copywriting, or content creation, with a portfolio that demonstrates an ability to write for the screen.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proven ability to distill complex information into simple, easy-to-understand language.
• A strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and visual storytelling.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

• Direct experience writing scripts specifically for motion graphics or animated videos.
• A portfolio that includes produced video work.
• Familiarity with the video production pipeline from concept to final delivery.
• Experience working in a fast-paced agency or studio environment.
