Zalo is seeking a highly skilled Lead AI Engineer to join our Short Video Recommendation team. You will lead the development of state-of-the-art recommendation systems that deliver personalized and engaging video content to millions of users. This role demands a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and large-scale system design.
What you will do
- Lead and mentor a team of AI Engineers and Data Scientists to build and optimize video recommendation algorithms.
- Design, develop, and deploy large-scale recommendation systems using machine learning and deep learning techniques.
- Conduct experiments and A/B tests to improve recommendation accuracy and user engagement.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in AI and integrate relevant innovations into the system.
- Analyze user behavior data to refine and enhance recommendation models continuously.
- Ensure scalability and efficiency of AI solutions to handle large volumes of data and traffic.
What you will need
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science or related fields.
- Proven experience in building and deploying recommendation systems at scale.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or C++ and familiarity with ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).
- Proficiency in data processing tools such as Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka.
- Experience with big data technologies and distributed systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Strong communication skills to articulate AI solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in video content analysis and recommendation for video platforms.
- Familiarity with knowledge graphs, embeddings, or graph-based neural networks.
- Contributions to open-source projects or relevant publications in AI.
