1. KEY OBJECTIVES
- Carry out operation and maintenance of FPSO/FSO equipment and vessel utilities with minimal environmental impact in accordance with legislation, class, flag, and Facility Management System.
- Maintain watch in the Engine Room (ER) and on deck equipment as assigned during normal operation and off takes.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Undertake watchkeeping duties, monitor equipment parameters, and report abnormalities.
- Maintain machinery space logs and records as directed.
- Perform engine room, pump room, and deck equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure good housekeeping in the engine room and on deck equipment sites.
- Conduct mechanical maintenance of equipment, plant, and systems safely and effectively according to maintenance schedules.
- Operate, record, and update log-sheets of all machinery and equipment, reporting abnormalities to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Support Maintenance Supervisor in planning shutdown activities, diagnosing faults, and carrying out breakdown repairs.
- Participate in preparing spare part requirements, proposals for modifications, and stock control.
- Liaise with Storekeeper for ordering, issuing, and consumption monitoring of maintenance materials.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions for breakdowns (BDR).
- Ensure CBTA program completion as per requirements.
- Update AMOS software with maintenance, inspection, and job reports accurately and timely.
- Assist in preparing daily/weekly/monthly/annual maintenance plans and spare part requirements.
- Follow O&M procedures (including TWIs, JHAs) and ensure proper record keeping in AMOS.
- Implement corrosion monitoring and preventive actions in maintenance areas.
- Raise Material Requisition (MR) and ensure spare parts availability for maintenance tasks.
- Supervise/support contractors and team members during lube oil, hydraulic oil, and chemical handling.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure system stability after maintenance or changeover.
- Provide training support for junior/new maintenance crew.
- Cooperate with MS/SMT to issue and close out PTWs.
- Carry out close Work Orders in AMOS as assigned by SMT.
3. HSE ROLES
- Comply with company Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Environmental Protection policies.
- Take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
- Immediately report incidents, accidents, near misses, or unsafe conditions.
- Use PPE and other protective equipment as required.
- Actively participate in drills, exercises, and respond to emergencies as per the response plan.
4. WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
- Report directly to SMT/Maintenance Supervisor on the FPSO.
- Liaise with other Discipline Supervisors for cross-functional coordination.
5. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES
Mandatory
- University/College degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in operation & maintenance of marine machineries or offshore oil & gas industry.
- Experience with Safety Management System, PTW system, and CMMS (AMOS or equivalent).
- Skilled in using mechanical tools and equipment.
- Good command of English with strong personal and interpersonal skills.

Desirable
- Graduated from Maritime University in Machinery Engineering.
- Experience in process equipment maintenance on offshore facilities.
- Certified Engine Officer under STCW (Standards of Training, Certification, and Watchkeeping for Seafarers) as Third Engineer.
- Working shift: 21 days on, 21 days off
