Your role
The Marketing & Program Assistant is responsible for providing support to the overall operation of the CAIR team, including to support digital marketing efforts, creating marketing collateral, and assisting with creative tasks such as video production. This role also involves coordinating aspects of our career programs and events, helping to ensure smooth project delivery and a strong brand presence.
Reports to: Manager, Industry Engagement and Career Development
Indirect reports to: Staff members assigned by the manager
Key Accountabilities
Digital Marketing (50%):
Under supervision, assist in monitoring all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and benchmarks.
With advice from supervisor, assist in developing content for some social media platforms and email campaigns.
With instruction, develop and present selected social media campaign ideas.
Under guidance, collaborate with team on social media analysis and research with monthly reports.
Creative & Design (30%):
Assist with the development and design of marketing collateral including but not limited: social banners, digital signage, flyers, brochures, infographics, merchandise, etc.
Assist with other creative tasks as assigned involving video production, live streams, podcasts, etc.
Program Coordination (20%):
Assist with the planning and hosting of both online and offline career events
Assist with following up with various stakeholders to check in, ask for feedback, event reminders, etc.
Attend meetings with companies, industry leaders, mentors, etc. to maintain relationships.
General administrative tasks as assigned, including greeting students, booking appointments in the Job Shop, and approving job ads in the system
Key Selection Criteria
Second or final year student of a relevant discipline (Digital Marketing, Professional Communication, Business)
Solid understanding of various social media channels and various marketing techniques, or willingness to learn
Familiar with design applications and tools (Photoshop/Illustrator/InDesign or Canva) and knowledge of video editing software or interest in gaining these skills.
Exhibit enthusiasm and interest in learning about career development programs & activities
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and administrative skills.
Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames.
Organised, dependable, and detail-oriented team player with ability to meet deadlines.
Comfortable with organising a team of student volunteers when opportunities arise.
Ability to display appropriate behaviours in line with the position and RMIT Values
Additional Information
Contract duration: 03 months
Highly competitive gross salary
Workload: 20 hours per week
Annual leave: 1 day per working month

English Proficiency
English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam. For this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS General 6.5 (or equivalent Linguaskill 170).
