WHAT YOU WILL DO
Key Accountabilities/ Job Description:
1. Supervisory:
a. Manage, supervise and lead a team of 1-3 MRP planners, if any.
b. Lead in project implementation, such as process improvement, system/ tool implementation.
c. Set-up and lead the weekly meeting to review MRP.
d. Overview the MRP of the company and quickly work with suppliers/3rd party/QC/Procurement/Warehouse to ensure the delivery schedule if there’re any risks of shortage.
e. Instruct and support MRP planners to solve the problems related to MRP such as quality issue, payments, quotation, etc.
2. MRP Planning:
a. Generate the Material Delivery Schedules of key materials of company to suppliers (Glucose, Gumbase&Sweeteners, Sugar).
b. Responsible for communicating and coordinating effectively with Buying, suppliers, warehouses… to keep stock at a proper level with delivery in time and with correct quantity.
c. Monitor the stock level and receipts to make a good plan for stock replenishment or delivery amendment.
3. MRP Execution:
a. Materials requirement planning, convert Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order, and liaise with suppliers on delivery schedule, to ensure materials are supplied on time to meet production plan.
b. Review and propose to revise material stock level policy and appropriate MOQ.
c. Daily/Weekly supply overview check to ensure all materials meet production plan.
d. Clean overdue POs of materials on SAP monthly.
e. Consolidate and send the monthly rolling purchase forecast to strategic suppliers defined by Procurement.
f. Coordinate with Procurement and R&D for RPM trial requests.
g. Monthly review and manage slow-moving and obsolete inventory, share recommendations to minimize obsolesces.
h. Implement the disposal/WO the un-used RPM with monthly cycle.
i. Project the inventory vs warehouse capacity based on the delivery schedule of materials.
4. Data Governance and Reporting:
a. Ensure accurate data (MRP Data, Delivery Date of PO) are maintained and updated correctly in the system
b. Issue and follow-up monthly reports related to MRP planning (Aging report, WO report)
5. Execute extra jobs assigned by line manager.
OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE
1. University degree in business, supply chain or operations disciplines.
2. Min. 5 years of experience on supply planning, production planning and materials requirement planning and new product launch planning.
3. Deep understanding of business processes and ability to interface with cross-functional team, and team from regional or global.
4. Proficiency in English and Vietnamese, both spoken and written, is a must.
5. Good working experience with ERP system (SAP preferred), and Microsoft Office application.
6. Adaptability/ flexibility to new environment, ability to work well both independently as a self-starter.
7. Demonstrated analytical skills, customer oriented and ability to adequately manage trade-offs.
