Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities
- Design and oversee the installation of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Ensure all M&E systems meet safety and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with architects, construction managers, and other engineers.
- Prepare detailed plans, drawings, and specifications for M&E systems.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Identify and resolve any issues related to M&E systems during construction.
- Estimate costs and prepare budgets for M&E components of the project.
- Collaborate with procurement teams to source materials and equipment
- Monitoring all Pre-commissioning checks and progress of any remedial defects liability works and the release of retention money
- Manage outsourced resources, specifying the qualifications and experience required for the relevant M&E design engineers
- Preparation of the Project handbook, issuing Systems and Procedures, instructions, Drawings, certificates, Schedules and valuations, and the preparation and submission of reports, and relevant documentary return.
- Taking all appropriate steps to ensure that the Site Contractors and other Workers observe all the rules, regulations and safety & fire prevention practices.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in M&E design and construction.
- Supervisor Certificate Class I or II (compulsory)
- In-depth knowledge of industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
