British University Vietnam (BUV) is the first and only international university in Vietnam to directly award British degrees from the prestigious University of London and other UK universities. POSITION PURPOSE
Partnership Manager-Schools & Agents (Northern Provinces) is responsible for building and managing strategic partnerships with high schools, education agents, and recommenders across Northern Provinces of Vietnam. This role focuses on expanding the B2B partner network, generating qualified leads, optimizing recruitment processes, and driving effective collaboration with internal teams such as Student Recruitment, Marketing, and Academic departments. The goal is to contribute significantly to student recruitment through high-performing schools and agents channels.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
1. B2B Channel Development & Partnership Management
- Identify, establish, and nurture strong partnerships with high schools, education agents, and recommenders across Northern Provinces.
- Negotiate and manage collaboration agreements to ensure mutual benefits and long-term engagement.
- Organize regular engagement activities with partners, such as school visits, agent training, and recommender workshops.
- Represent BUV in school events, education fairs, and partnership visits in provincial markets.
- Expand and maintain an active database of partners and recommenders in CRM (e.g., Salesforce).
2. Lead Generation & Recruitment Performance
- Develop and implement effective B2B strategies to drive high-quality leads for the student recruitment team.
- Coordinate closely with the B2C Recruitment team to ensure smooth lead handover and support lead conversion.
- Monitor lead performance by channel and recommend improvement strategies to optimize conversion rates.
- Align B2B activities with enrolment targets and contribute directly to achieving student recruitment goals.
3. Team Development & Operational Excellence
- Build and lead a high-performing B2B recruitment team to expand BUV’s presence in the Northern provinces market.
- Coach, mentor, and manage team members to ensure task ownership and consistent performance.
- Continuously review and improve processes related to partner engagement, event planning, and lead tracking.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and provide regular training on BUV’s offerings and admissions processes.
4. Cross-functional Collaboration & Promotion Activities
- Work closely with the Student Recruitment & Marketing team to plan and execute joint promotional campaigns and school-based events.
- Collaborate with Academic departments and university leadership to organize academic showcases, trial classes, and career orientation activities at partner schools.
- Support the development of localized promotional materials tailored for schools and provincial audiences.
- Participate in planning and feedback meetings to align B2B channel efforts with the university’s strategic direction.
5. Other Tasks
- Provide regular reports on performance metrics, market insights, and partner feedback to the Head of Student Recruitment.
- Ensure partner satisfaction through effective customer care and relationship management.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and policy changes affecting student recruitment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by line management to support the university’s strategic enrolment objectives, such as consultation on Open Day, Experience Day, and other big events.
POSITION SPECIFICATIONS
COMPETENCIES (knowledge, skills, and abilities)
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Business, Marketing, or a related field
- Postgraduate qualifications are a plus
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or higher education recruitment; with minimum 3 years in management role.
- Proven experience managing partnerships and recruitment in provincial or school networks
- Excellent Professional English & Vietnamese
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team management capabilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Willing to travel to provincial partners
Desirable
- Experience working in the education or training industry, having good network of agents, and schools’ partnership is highly desirable.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to drive both immediate results and long-term relationship value.
- Team leadership or people management experience is highly desirable
- Proficient with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and data-based performance analysis.
- Deep understanding of the Vietnamese education land scape is an advantage.
