The Product Quality Manager (PQM) team is supporting this business objective by applying Quality Management & Control methodologies to Tier 1 factory product development and manufacturing processes to make the highest quality products possible.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the product quality in Tier 1 factories and implementing quality management strategies to deliver high quality products. As the Product Quality Manager, you will work cross-functionally with Microsoft operation and engineering teams and Suppliers (Tier-1, Tier-2 etc.) to solve product quality issues and drive for continuous improvements.

Responsibilities
- Transfer products from Tier 1 factory in China to Vietnam, bring up new factory and set up product quality control processes on time to ensure shipping products with high quality.
- Lead the product quality issue triage with cross functional team and execute CAPA process to drive for root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Initiate and implement continuous improvement projects for factory operation or assembly processes, quality control processes, and documentations.
- Enforce industry best quality manufacturing practices at Vietnam factory, including specifying and monitoring IQC, OBA, ORT, GR&R, FAI, and the implementation and management of the overall manufacturing Quality Strategy.
- Directing and setting priorities for Tier 1 partner quality teams focused on creating new ways to solve repair and refurbish challenges, inventing and commercializing new technologies and methods.
- Drive clear and accurate communications and recommendations to peers and senior management by distilling complex technical challenges, outlining options, and providing supporting data.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience
- OR Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- OR equivalent experience.
- Working experience with product standards, statistical methods, risk management, and corrective/preventive action process.
- Knowledge of Quality System Regulation, Statistical Process Control and ISO Quality System Standard. Excellent analyzing & solving skill, and strong ability to drive for contaminant of issue.
- Good interpersonal skill and effective communication which able to express technical concepts in verbal and written English with cross functional teams.

- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
