Department: Recreation & Activities
Reports To: Director of Operations / General Manager
Location: Cam Ranh, Khanh Hoa, Vietnam
## Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, creative, and energetic Recreation Manager to lead our activities and wellness team. The Recreation Manager is responsible for designing, managing, and delivering an exceptional range of recreational programs and experiences for guests of all ages. Your primary goal is to enhance guest satisfaction and create lasting memories by providing innovative, safe, and engaging activities that align with our 5-star brand standards.
## Key Responsibilities
Program Development & Management
Design and implement a diverse and exciting weekly and monthly schedule of recreational activities, including water sports, fitness classes aqua aerobics), cultural workshops....
Oversee all recreational facilities, including the fitness center, swimming pools, tennis courts, and beach activities, ensuring they are well-maintained, clean, and operated to the highest safety standards.
Lead the Kids' Club program, creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for our younger guests with age-appropriate activities.
Develop and launch unique signature experiences that set our resort apart and generate positive guest feedback.
Team Leadership & Development
Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule the entire recreation team, fitness instructors, Kids' Club attendants, and activity coordinators.
Foster a positive and high-performing team culture focused on proactive guest service and engagement.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching to ensure team members meet and exceed guest expectations.
Guest Engagement & Satisfaction
Act as the primary ambassador for all resort activities, actively engaging with guests, promoting the recreation schedule, and gathering feedback.
Handle any guest concerns or complaints related to recreational activities with professionalism and efficiency.
Ensure the highest level of safety is maintained in all activities and facilities, with a particular focus on pool and beach safety protocols.
Financial & Operational Management
Control and maintain inventory of all recreational equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.
Develop strategies to drive ancillary revenue through paid activities, classes,
Ensure compliance with all company policies and local health and safety regulations.

## Qualifications & Skills
Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in recreation or guest activities, preferably within a 5-star hotel or luxury resort environment.
Education: Diploma's degree in Hospitality Management, Sports Management, or a related field is preferred.
Certifications: Certifications in fitness, yoga, or water sports instruction are a strong asset.
Skills:
Excellent leadership, team-building, and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for creating engaging experiences.
Strong organizational.
Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations.
