EmbedIT Vietnam is expanding our DevOps & Infrastructure team to support multiple enterprise projects across financial services, data platforms, mobile applications, and core systems. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, maintaining, and automating the environments, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure that power the mission-critical solutions for our internal teams and external clients. You will be working in both cloud and on-premise ecosystems and support the Kubernetes platforms across all platforms.

Your Future Role
Infrastructure & Environment Management
- Maintain and ensure the availability of development, staging, and production environments
- Manage access, runtime stability, and environment upgrades
- Support Java application performance through JVM tuning, log analysis, and optimization of runtime behavior
CI/CD Pipeline Management
- Design, build, and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines or other similar tools
- Automate build, testing, and deployment processes using Python and Bash
- Troubleshoot and resolve pipeline issues
Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Terraform and Ansible
- Standardize infrastructure configurations and automate environment provisioning
Monitoring & Observability
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems (Grafana, Prometheus, Splunk)
- Enhance observability with proactive alerting and dashboards
Container & Cloud Platform Management
- Manage Docker/Kubernetes environments
- Optimize container images, deployments, and security
- Support cloud/on-premises provisioning and scaling
Messaging and Event system
- Work with message brokers, including: Reading RabbitMQ & Kafka logs, then remediating and fine-tuning based on findings
Incident & SLA Management
- Respond to alerts and incidents within agreed SLAs
- Triage and resolve infrastructure and pipeline issues
- Document incidents and implement preventative measures
Security & Compliance
- Apply system hardening, vulnerability remediation, and patching
- Support audits and compliance checks
Performance & Capacity
- Monitor system performance and resource usage
- Conduct tuning (e.g., JVM, database, message broker) and provide optimization recommendations
What Will Help You Stand Out
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure engineering roles
- Strong Linux administration background (Oracle Linux, Red Hat, CentOS, or similar)
- Proven track record of designing and implementing CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and monitoring solutions
- Experience mentoring junior engineers and leading technical improvements
- Proficiency with at least one scripting language – Go, Bash, Python
- Deep understanding of Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration
- Experience with IaC (Ansible/Terraform)
- Experience with managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure or GCP) and/or on-premises virtualization environments
- Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure monitor, AWS CloudWatch, …)
- Knowledge of monitoring tools and incident management
- Proven experience supporting and optimizing application environments running on WebLogic and Tomcat, with hands-on experience in Kafka and RabbitMQ for application messaging, and configuring Apache and NGINX as reverse proxies or load balancers.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work proactively and own responsibilities end-to-end
- Good English communication, documentation, and cross-country coordination
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Liquibase for database deployment support and Nexus for artifact repository management.
