Senior Fullstack Engineer (Python)

You’re excited by the idea of being the first engineer for HireAra in Vietnam and growing into a leadership role as we scale the team. Key Responsibilities: - Develop scalable full-stack applications using Python, React, and Node.js. - Build and maintain backend services and APIs in Python for our AI-driven recruitment platform. - Work on full-stack projects with modern technologies (TypeScript, React, Node.js, Python). - Solve complex technical challenges, optimise system performance, and roll out new features. - Collaborate with product and design teams to create seamless, intuitive user experiences. - Influence technical decisions and participate in architectural discussions. - Contribute to code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement processes. - Help define and shape the engineering culture at HireAra. Requirements - Must Have: - Strong proficiency in TypeScript, React, and Node.js. - Proven experience with Python backend development, APIs, and scalable services. - Excellent spoken and written English. - Track record of shipping high-quality production code in agile environments. - Passion for crafting great user experiences. - Comfort working in a start-up style environment - adaptable, proactive, resourceful. - Competent and confident in building with AI tools - you love leveraging AI in your development workflow to build faster and better. Requirements - Nice to Have: - Experience in technical architecture and decision-making. - Experience leading a team. - Previous start-up or scale-up engineering experience. - Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS). - Contributions to open-source projects or notable personal projects.
