What you’ll do
Job Description / Capsule
Develop field force capabilities (skills, behaviour, knowledge) to ensure continuous improvement of our field performance/activities to positively influence customer’s prescribing behaviour, delivering performance and building AZ’s long-term business.
Performing all training and facilitates field Force training activities. This includes planning and implementing all training programs and training events related to product knowledge, customer adoption skills, role- plays and skill development activities & workshops.
The role will drive field force best practices and tools across Business Units in line with Global/ Regional Commercial Excellence guidelines and materials.

FF Training Manager
1/ Training and Team Development
- Collating field force training requirements identified through training needs analysis (field development forms, performance review, attendance at FF meetings etc.)
- Attending all global, regional meetings/trainings to learn new courses & localize them for best outcomes
- Formulating a training framework, training plan and road map for different seniority levels with clear objectives, KPIs for structured and integrated development of the field force aligned with the competency frameworks
- Organizing & delivering field force training programs and delivery is in an interactive and timely fashion.
- For newcomers ensuring they fully equip all skills & knowledge requirement
- For experienced field force ensuring the key behaviours/ competencies are continuing to develop
- Collaborate with marketing in the development of product refresh training, handling objections, presentation…for current & new brands/indication launches.
- Reinforce the skills application by participating in field activities, triple coaching, team role play/ presentation…
- Under alignment from FF Manager’s and Line Manager, provide in-field training support for MR’s
- Understand and disseminate the AZ Code of Conduct during training
- Running FF skills assessment, product knowledge assessment & generating insight reports incorporating performance against benchmarks and remedial actions required.
- Conduct/participate in other department training program where appropriated.
Reporting/ Administration
- Record and update on-time commercial training metrics, e.g. training summary reports, individual training records, etc for management information
- Administration of on-going learning progress and knowledge tests
- Distribute pre- & post-course action plans for all training participants seeking active contribution from trainees and line managers
Personal Development
- Develop behaviours leading to enhanced effectiveness as outlined in Field Force Trainer Competency Framework
- Identify areas for self-development and own/discuss IDP with clear actions timeline
- Attend & participate in field force meetings
- Continuous update the environment changes that leading to new skills requirement for yourself & for commercial team
- Related Products/TA knowledge is required
Education, Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential
- Minimum of 5 years in sales and or training manager in FMCG, retail, insurance, pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
- Have excellent interpersonal and people management skills, able to develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Be a good influencer, good at engaging with stakeholders
- Thorough understanding of market dynamics Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, coach, and develop
- Be a consummate sales professional with an excellent eye for detail, able to handle multiple projects adeptly and possessed of great amounts of energy and drive
- Experience in other commercial areas of the business
- Excellent written and verbal English
Desirable
- Bachelors degree and or pharmaceutical/medical university degree. MBA or Business degree preferable.
- Experience in build-up omnichannel training journey
- Experience in similar position in MNC Pharmaceutical company
- Experience developing high level training programs.
