Join the Core & Features team, where you will play a critical role in building and maintaining backend services that process hundreds of millions of requests daily. Your work directly contributes to the stability, performance, and long-term scalability of the Zalo ecosystem – one of the most widely used digital platforms in Vietnam.
What you will do
- Develop and maintain backend features for the Social Video/Story service;
- Build and optimize server-side logic for the Link/Photo service;
- Design, implement, and operate high-performance, low-latency, and high-availability systems;
- Participate in system optimization and ensure efficient handling of large-scale traffic;
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code;
- Join code reviews and contribute ideas to continuously improve system quality.
What you will need
- Proficiency in Java and hands-on experience with SQL or NoSQL databases;
- Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming (OOP);
- Solid experience with network programming and multithreading;
- Comfortable working on Linux environments and familiar with network/web protocols such as UDP/TCP and HTTP/HTTPS;
- Sharp logical thinking and the ability to analyze and solve problems proactively and efficiently;
- Highly responsible, eager to learn, energetic, and capable of working both independently and in collaborative team settings.
Nice to have
- Experience with VueJS or ReactJS is a plus;
- Experience working on large-scale systems with strict performance and stability requirements;
- Contributions to architecture optimization, performance tuning, or long-term product improvements.
