And as the Supplier Performance and Claims Coordinator, you’ll help us elevate supplier reliability and accountability by ensuring performance metrics are measured consistently and manufacturing claims are handled efficiently. Your work will directly support cost recovery, strengthen supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement across our supply base.Why We Need You:
In the Sourcing team, the Supplier Performance and Claims Specialist will be responsible for driving continuous improvement in supplier performance through tracking and analysis, while managing the supplier claims process. You will work closely with the Sourcing and Planning team, as well as with suppliers, to collect, process, assess, and report on suppliers’ performance. At the same time, you will ensure that claims related to supplier issues are accurately documented, coordinated, and followed through with all relevant stakeholders.

What You’ll Do:
You’ll be part of 5 seasoned professionals to both strengthen the supplier base through performance benchmarking and ensuring timely resolution of claims to mitigate cost complications. Your ability to manage performance insights and claims will help elevate supplier accountability and support long-term supply chain resilience.- Collect, validate, and maintain data to support accurate supplier performance measurement. Quantify performance using defined key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Segment and categorize suppliers based on performance outcomes and trends. Ensure performance metrics are consistently captured and reported to relevant stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement by using KPI insights to identify underperformance and support corrective actions with suppliers.
- Submit validated defect claims to respective suppliers and follow up for compensation. Manage credit and debit note processing, ensuring accurate application and tracking. Close resolved claims and prepare summary reports for tracking and analysis.
- Conduct regular audits to verify proper reconciliation of claims.
- Coordinate with Quality and Sourcing teams to address supplier concerns regarding classified defects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve claim handling processes and systems.
- Implement production WIP reporting process and systems at suppliers. Ensure smooth operation and ongoing effectiveness of production WIP reporting system.
- Monitor timely submission of WIP reports from suppliers. Analyze WIP data to assess potential production risks and shipment delays.
- Provide stakeholders with actionable recommendations to improve supplier performance based on production WIP insights.
Who You Are:
- 3+ years’ experience in supplier performance management, quality assurance, supply chain operations, or a related field. Familiarity with manufacturing processes and production workflows in the supply chain.
- Proven track record in supplier KPI tracking and performance reporting.
Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or other reporting tools. - Experience with supplier defect claims, including documentation, credit/debit note reconciliation, and cost recovery.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills with both vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently with general supervision and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Background or interest to learn continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
