Supplier Program Manager
Location: Vietnam

The Role:
The Supplier Program Manager at eero is responsible for driving new tooling development and plastic injection production from concept approval through ramp-up of eero devices. The role is responsible for driving mechanical suppliers in collaboration with cross-functional teams and supply chain to achieve the project goals. The position reports on KPIs for delivery and overall capacity for the custom mechanical commodity. This role is the focal point of contact in Vietnam for all Mechanical activities. The Supplier Program Manager needs close communication and teamwork with the worldwide teams such as OPM, MDE, Product Design, EPM, ID, etc., to ensure the projects are progressing according to schedule.
The Supplier Program Manager is responsible for closely monitoring and driving in-region activities including DFM, tooling release, process qualification, and material preparation for builds. Working closely with the Manufacturing Design Engineer (MDE), Tooling Engineer (TE), Global Commodity Manager (GCM), Supplier Quality Manager (SQM), and Reliability Engineer (REL), the role is also responsible for driving suppliers to ensure the schedules are on track, issues are resolved, and quality requirements are met.

What you’ll do:
- Lead eero's enclosures or heatsink productions through new product introduction by driving supplier to execute plan of record
- Join cross functional development with PD, Compliance, Quality, Reliability, Product, and Supply Chain to execute and deliver plastics enclosure or heatsink across multiple suppliers.
- Drive NPI at supplier (EVT, DVT, PVT) and ongoing qualification management for copy toolings, tooling modifications, alternative sources, or factory moves.
- Stand-up supplier's factory ensuring definition and execution for all manufacturing processes meet eero standards
- Manage supplier capacity, KPI, and overall performance.
- Own the overall enclosure/heatsink production lines – primary contact point for CM/Supplier to coordinate, define, and resolve any capacity and technical production issues with upstream supplier.
- Engage in process definition on supplier production line flow, layout, UPH to optimize for eero production goals.
- Develop rapport with supplier partners and detailed knowledge of "how the factory works" its capabilities and limitations.
- Own schedules for supplier deliverables which contribute into POR build readiness for EV, DV, PV+. Commit to build readiness at supplier to support xVT Builds
- Drive raw materials used for NPI and production schedules to maintain inventory at planned levels for prototype and /or production build.
- Lead critical issue resolution throughout product development cycle.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
We're looking for someone with: 8+ years experience in Program Management or related field
- Experience in the high volume consumer electronics industry
- Demonstrated experience managing complex project schedules with tight deadlines
- Good understanding of material, tooling and mechanical manufacturing processes
- Able to provide advice on technical decision and trouble shooting
- Experience working onsite with manufacturers and suppliers, driving schedule and issues resolution
- Proven strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required for effective presentations
- Demonstrated critical thinking capability
- Fluent in English
- Can work on multiple projects simultaneously
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Chinese Language is a plus.
