Position Summary
Responsible for project management to ensure that each project is completed according to plan (time, budget and quality).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Project Lifecycle Management: Lead the end-to-end project lifecycle for new electronic product introductions (NPI) or derived products, including requirements definition, planning, execution, monitoring, risk mitigation, and successful closure.
2. Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as the primary point of contact and lead cross-functional project teams (Engineering [EE, SW, ME], Sourcing, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance).
3. Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans (scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, risk register) using appropriate tools (e.g., Keyedin, MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet). Define milestones and deliverables.
4. Execution & Monitoring: Drive project execution according to plan. Track progress, identify critical paths, manage dependencies, and proactively identify and mitigate risks and issues. Manage project scope changes effectively.
5. Budget & Resource Management: Develop and manage project budgets. Forecast resource needs and work with functional managers to secure necessary resource assigned. Track project expenditures against budget.
6. Communication Hub: Facilitate clear, concise, and timely communication (status reports, dashboards, meetings) to all stakeholders (team, management, executives, customers). Escalate critical issues appropriately.
7. Electronics Development Process: Ensure adherence to established electronics development processes, including design reviews (HW/SW), DFM/DFMEA/PFMEA analysis, prototyping (EVT/DVT/PVT), qualification testing (reliability, environmental, regulatory compliance - e.g., FCC, CE, UL), and manufacturing ramp-up.
8. Supply Chain & Manufacturing Coordination: Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Demand Planner, Supply planner and Manufacturing teams to manage component procurement, supplier relationships, and ensure smooth transition to mass production. Address manufacturing and quality issues impacting project goals.
9. Risk Management: Proactively identify technical, schedule, resource, and supply chain risks. Develop and implement effective mitigation and contingency plans.
10. Quality & Delivery: Ensure projects deliver products that meet defined technical specifications, quality standards, reliability targets, and regulatory requirements, on time and within budget.
11. Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the improvement of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices within the organization.

Qualifications - Knowledge & Experience
1. Minimum of 5+ years of direct project management experience within the electronics industry (e.g., consumer electronics, semiconductors, IoT, industrial electronics, medical devices, automotive electronics);
2. Fluency in English as mandatory requirement, Chinese speaking capability is preferred;
3. Solid understanding of electronics product development processes, including HW design, PCB layout, firmware development, software integration, mechanical design, testing methodologies, and manufacturing processes (SMT, assembly, test). Experience working with global teams (design, manufacturing);
4. Experience with regulatory compliance processes (FCC, CE, UL, ETL, etc.).
5. Experience managing projects involving RF, power electronics, or wireless technologies (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee).
Education, Licenses & Certification
1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related technical field is preferred; majored in other filed also can be considered based on actual work experience.
2. PMP (Project Management Professional) is preferred
3. Other Certifications /Training preferred.
Work Conditions
1. 48 hours per week.
2. Sitting for extended periods of time; Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
3. Physically able to participate in training sessions, presentations, and meetings.
4. Regularly travel on work.
