Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Design, develop, and deploy AI models using machine learning (ML), deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and software developers to understand business requirements and propose AI-driven solutions.
• Collect, clean, preprocess, and analyze large and complex datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Optimize model performance through hyperparameter tuning, algorithm selection, and performance profiling.
• Integrate trained models into applications or microservices using REST APIs or cloud-based deployment pipelines.
• Monitor and maintain AI models in production to ensure reliability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to best practices in model governance, versioning, and model lifecycle management.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Data Science, Machine Learning, or AI Engineering role.
• Proven experience in developing and deploying machine learning or deep learning models in production.
• Strong proficiency in Python and ML/DL libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, etc.
• Hands-on experience with data processing and analysis using tools like Pandas, NumPy, and SQL.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and ML services (e.g., AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI, Azure ML).
• Solid understanding of algorithms, data structures, and modern software engineering practices.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a strong sense of ownership.
