Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

ABOUT THE JOB

• Develop and maintain data models and data warehouses, ensuring performance, integrity, and quality.
• Design, build, and maintain scalable data models to support analytics and reporting.
• Build and support dashboards and reports using Power BI to enable data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into reliable data solutions.
• Optimize performance of big data processing using Spark/PySpark.
• Ensure data accuracy and reliability through rigorous data validation and testing frameworks.
• Contribute to the evolution of our data infrastructure and tooling.

ABOUT YOU

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, Data Analyst or a related field.
• Proficient in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Azure Data Factory.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT, data pipelines, and cloud platforms (especially Azure and Databricks).
• Strong hand-on experience with Bigdata such as Spark/ pyspark
• Strong background in data modeling, schema design, and enterprise data warehousing.
• Familiarity with data management tools like Azure Purview or Unity Catalog.
• Experience with DevOps tools (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps), automated testing, and orchestration frameworks.
• Solid business acumen with the ability to translate business needs into data-driven solutions.
