We aims to help bridge these unmet needs and close the financial inclusion gap. GFin, puts in place a much-needed infrastructure to accelerate financial inclusion in Southeast Asia. GFin is building a reliable alternative to traditional credit scoring methods that is customized for the majority of unbanked consumers and small businesses in Southeast Asia, which will create economic opportunity for millions of people across the region
Get to Know the Role
We are looking for a Assistant Manager to play a crucial part in leading our commercial operations, ensuring a smooth coordination between different departments and team members, you also develop strategy for GFin, overseeing an intensive scope that encompasses the following key responsibilities:
- Partnership Management: you will cultivate and manage strategic partnerships with financial institutions, smartphone manufacturers, home appliance vendors, and other key stakeholders to drive GFin's growth and market presence.
- BAU Sales Metrics Oversight: you play a pivotal role in sales planning and strategy, ensuring alignment with GFin's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and commercial metrics. You will diligently track performance to maintain business objectives and drive sustainable results.
- New Product and Initiative Launches: As a project manager for GFin's commercial initiatives, you will lead the execution of key projects and product launches. This role demands extensive knowledge, decisive decision-making, and robust project management skills to ensure successful outcomes.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: you will collaborate seamlessly with other departments within OneGrab and regional teams to ensure smooth product launches, business compliance, and synchronization of new projects, fostering cohesive operations across the organization.
You will report to Head, GrabFin Commercials & Operations.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications and Competencies
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required
- Minimum of 4 years of demonstrable experience in finance or commercial operations
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions, including the ability to create and maintain complex spreadsheets
- Proven capability to effectively manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
- Advanced level of English language proficiency in both written and verbal communication
- Substantial experience in project coordination and cross-functional team collaboration
