Purpose of Role
The Chief Agency Officer (CAO) is responsible for developing and executing strategies of Chubb Life Agency business. Areas of focus will include achieving sales targets, supporting the execution of an existing target operating model to improve production, producer segmentation, training, incentives, recruitment, product development, technology, service, and internal management reporting. The CAO advises Country President and key stakeholders on developing and expanding strategic account relationships.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
- Drive top line and bottom-line financial performance through day-to-day monitoring, operational improvements, and development across the Agency function
- Responsible for execution of Agency management strategy and creates opportunities to to introduce initiatives for new business.
- Develop, execute and maintain Agency value proposition offering for Chubb’s top tier producers.
- Forecasts market data trends to ensure company’s competitive position in the market
- Uses data information to develop strategies in order to increase revenue and improve customer satisfaction
- Directly work with Agency Training Head and continue to build out target Agency organizational structure across the country
- Responsible for Agency distribution review process to drive global compliance of operations methods and ensure operational and regulatory compliance across the agency force
- Collaborate with Finance to continue the development of a financial reporting P&L to report Agency financials
- Collaborate with Global Agency Operation in the development of building an Agency sales metrics reporting dashboard for management reporting oversight
- Using advanced analysis of competitor information, makes recommendation to modify the company’s products, sales approach, prices and distribution methods
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with respected industry leading career with Agency management related experience, with focus on product management, operations, incentives, and training
- An internationally minded individual that can work across multiple cultures, countries, and management matrices to build creative solutions while gaining consensus for new ideas
- A self-motivated individual who can make appropriate decisions work independently
- Ability to plan, organize, direct, and implement Agency goals and objectives, and to stimulate creativity and change when required
- Demonstrated ability in strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial and business planning analyses
- Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture
- Proven track record in relationship-building and driving change in a matrix work environment
- Excellent planning, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel (mainly domestic) up to 40% time of the year
