Role Overview
As a Senior AI/ML Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and deploying the core machine learning systems that power our wealth intelligence platform. You’ll work at the intersection of natural language processing, structured financial data, and real-time user interactions to create models and agents that help advisors operate smarter, faster, and more compliantly.
What You’ll Do
- Design and train AI models using structured and unstructured financial data (e.g., CRM, email, client notes, portfolio data).
- Develop and fine-tune LLM-based agents for use cases like compliance monitoring, client intelligence, and document summarization.
- Build pipelines to process financial documents, trading activity, and communications into usable, tagged datasets.
- Collaborate with product, compliance, and engineering teams to integrate models into end-user applications.
- Continuously evaluate model performance and implement methods to improve accuracy, response quality, and explainability.
- Ensure data security, client privacy, and regulatory standards are upheld in all AI-related workflows.
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years of experience in machine learning, NLP, or applied AI (startup or fintech preferred).
- Deep understanding of LLM frameworks (e.g., OpenAI, LangChain, HuggingFace Transformers).
- Proficiency with Python, TensorFlow or PyTorch, and data pipeline tools.
- Experience working with financial datasets or in a wealth management/fintech environment is highly preferred.
- Strong grasp of data security and regulatory principles (e.g., FINRA/SEC compliance, SOC 2, data anonymization).
- Passion for building production-ready AI systems in a fast-moving startup environment.
Bonus Points For
- Experience with agent frameworks, prompt engineering, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation).
- Familiarity with advisor technology ecosystems (e.g., Orion, Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, eMoney, Redtail).
- Prior work building AI tools for regulated industries.
- Contributions to open-source AI or fintech projects.
