Job Description
- Monitor, verify and report issues during and after prototype and mass production stage.
- Managed troubleshooting for BCP products to ensure full support to production and other departments.
- Coordinate with R&D for resolving testing and design issues of product/s.
- Participate in troubleshooting and trial run of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Troubleshoot, identify and analyzed failures and recommend corrective action in case of design failure or manufacturing related issues.
- Verify alternative parts on product level and give technical advice with corresponding report as needed
- Push and follow up the improvement/s of mass production products with yield issues according to production and quality feedback for improvement.
- Analyze and recommend improvements to all production processes base on test and troubleshooting findings.
Qualifications
- Relevant work experience in development and/or testing role.
- Technical background and an understanding of the power supply industry.
- A creative and considered approach to problem solving.
- Good organizational skills, able to handle a broad and complex workload.
- Clear, logical thought and a high attention to details
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Works well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in troubleshooting PCBA & using meters / equipment like Oscilloscopes, Electronic Loads and other Engineering equipment used during Failure analysis process.
Additional Information
- University degree or higher in a relevant engineering or science base discipline.
- Experience in working as R&D, Debug Engineer and/or Test Engineer
- Able to interpret schematic diagrams and validate finding using Engineering tools
- Able to compute basic electronic circuits and apply accordingly when necessary
- Fluency in English, both oral and written is a must
- Must know how to create Engineering reports according to Engineering principles.
