Job Description:
You will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure platform on AWS. You will work closely with the development teams to automate processes, ensure system performance and stability, and help deliver products to users quickly and reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
- AWS Infrastructure Ownership: Design, build, and manage secure, scalable infrastructure using Terraform. You’ll have a say in everything from VPCs to RDS to Lambda.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Use Docker and orchestrate containerized workloads via AWS EKS/ECS.
- CI/CD Pipelines: Set up and maintain efficient CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or GitLab CI, enabling fast and reliable releases.
- End-to-End Deployment: Take full ownership of application deployments – from IaC setup to service availability in production.
- Monitoring & Reliability: Build robust observability with CloudWatch, Prometheus, or ELK, ensuring performance and uptime.
- AWS Optimization: Continuously improve cost, performance, and security across our AWS stack.
Key Requirements:
- 3–5 years of experience in a DevOps/Platform role, ideally in a startup or SaaS environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, especially with EKS, ECS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, Lambda.
- Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure automation.
- Solid knowledge of Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes (especially on AWS EKS).
- CI/CD fluency with GitHub Actions or GitLab.
- Scripting skills in Bash or Python.
- Experience with Git for version control.
- Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
Nice to have:
- AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect).
- Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana.
- Understanding of microservices and serverless architectures.
