The Role :
- Will work closely with and report to the Resort General Manager with full responsibility to propose and drive the S&M budgeting & strategic planning process and establish clear revenue stream strategies while ensuring brand compliance and property positioning is in line with brand and owner objectives.
- Will effectively drive the approved sales and marketing plan to ensure hotel revenue streams are achieved or exceeded by successfully completing all deliverables and budget objectives.
- Has full departmental P&L responsibility including managing all A&P & annual sales budgets ‐ including monthly forecasting etc to ensure aligned with proportionate Budget and materialisation.
- Directly leads Revenue Management and works with hotel reservations to ensure consistency of approach to achieve resort objectives and compliance with hotel policies.
- Will be responsible for accurate forecasting of seasonal trends, market segmentation, and business on the books.
- Will ensure there is constant new business development in generating new leads, while leveraging on existing contacts to ensure continued business and competitive market positioning.
- Personally develops and maintains close strategic alliances with corporate and/or leisure retail and wholesale agencies, travel management companies, consortia, MICE, and direct consumer groups
- Will take personal responsibility for establishment and growth of a niche database of select luxury travel clients in core European markets and also new and emerging markets within Asia Pacific including Australia, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan, Korea, Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh, and Bangkok to drive positive growth in International Market.
- Support Sales Team and lead them to ensure a close relationship with other operating departments to enable a clear supportive approach between operations and Sales with due consideration to needs of both. This will ensure that Sales although remotely situated is fully embraced as part of the resort team.
- Participate in VIP client fam trips, site inspections, sales trips, and road shows where required.
- Set achievable but challenging goals for the sales team, conducting bi-monthly performance reviews.
- Maintain daily sales briefings, ensuring excellent product knowledge and client satisfaction.
- Submit comprehensive monthly report to the General Manager detailing sales activities for the past month and planned activities in the ensuing month.
- Reports directly to the Resort General Manager on a regular basis through meetings and calls.

- A passionate, energetic, innovative and committed leader with proven track record as a Director of Sales & Marketing (minimum 4+ Years in DOSM role) for an international boutique luxury property brand.
- Previously has held full responsibility for the creation and implementation of a comprehensive property Sales & Marketing Plan and direct reporting line to the General Manager.
- Fluent in both Vietnamese and English to a professional level required.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and personal ethics at all times.
- Must have a proven hospitality track record in establishing strong working relationships with both Inbound (Direct International contacts as well as domestic DMC’s) and domestic partners, while demonstrating an in-depth knowledge of the same.
- Demonstrated success in and a deep understanding of representing and effectively marketing a boutique luxury resort, preferably with international strategic sales & marketing experience.
- Be able to bring a significant personal network of upscale travel agencies, DMC’s and high-end clientele.
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Be available to travel when required both domestically and internationally when required.
