General Description
Our job performance is within the framework of the BV Quality Assurance System, QHSE policy, Codes of Ethics and BV Group’s policies and procedures.
Tasks – Activities – Responsibilities
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Collect and analyze input information to understand customer needs and technical requirements.
- Review project data, design drawings, and technical documentation; verify design principles and clarify any issues with the design team throughout all stages (from concept to construction design).
- Ensure designs comply with applicable local and international codes and standards.
- Validate analytical models, calculation spreadsheets, design reports, and drawings in accordance with the company’s quality assurance procedures.
- Proficient in specialized software such as AutoCAD, Revit (required), and other tools for design and analysis.
- Coordinate with other designers/ other consultants/ other members to ensure integrated and clash-free designs.
- Experienced in designing electrical and ELV.
- Capable of supervising M&E works at construction sites.
- Experienced in Quantity take-off, quotation making, and obtaining supplier quotations for electromechanical, contracting document and technical documents.
- Other duties upon request.
Operational Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned work to meet required progress, quality, and deadlines in line with company procedures.
- Participate in internal and Customer, partner meetings to ensure smooth operations.
- Share knowledge and provide internal training to support team development.
Business Development
- Coordinate with the Business Development team to prepare technical proposals for new project opportunities.
- Research and propose new technical services in the electromechanical field.
Customer’s Care Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to address service-related issues when requested.
- Ensure high-quality performance to maintain and enhance customer satisfaction.
Reporting Responsibilities:
- Provide regular progress reports to line Manager or Clients as required..
Candidate Profile
- University diploma in Electrical field
- At least 5+ years of experience working in designing Electrical systems.
- In-depth knowledge of local codes & standards, have knowledge of international (EN) code and standards is a plus
- Practical experience in designing hotel/industrial/factory building projects

Technical and professional skills
