The Finance Business Partner is a strategic leader responsible for driving financial performance, compliance, and operational excellence at the manufacturing site. As a key member of the site leadership team, this role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Global Business Units to ensure robust financial planning, analysis, and reporting. The role also oversees internal controls, compliance, capital investments, and inventory management, while leading and developing a high-performing finance team.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or any related field.
Proven experience in financial leadership within a manufacturing or operations environment.
Experience with tools such as TM1, SHIFT, E-Buy, and SAP and PowerBI is a plus
Knowledge of IFRS, internal controls, and financial systems.
Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Accountabilities:
Strategic Finance Leadership
- Lead site financial planning, budgeting, and strategic forecasting.
- Provide financial insights to support operational performance and cost competitiveness.
- Represent Finance in site leadership, IBP, and QDCI meetings
Business Partnering & Performance Management
- Partner with Manufacturing to deliver accurate performance analysis and cost control.
- Support decision-making on sourcing, product transfers, and investment scenarios.
- Drive implementation and training of financial tools and systems.
Cash & Asset Management
- Oversee CAPEX planning, approval, and post-project evaluations.
- Monitor inventory valuation, write-offs, and stock take processes.
- Support strategic investment decisions and fixed asset management
Team Leadership & Development
- Foster a high-performance culture by developing and mentoring finance and cross-functional teams, promoting continuous learning, collaboration, and accountability
- As part of the AMEA M&S Leadership team, Train and develop finance team and Center of Excellence members in promoting excellent collaboration across site, region and global.
- Cascade financial information and ensure cross-functional alignment.
Champion for Radical Simplification
- Lead simplification initiatives across manufacturing and supply finance processes to eliminate inefficiencies, reduce complexity, and enhance agility.
- Collaborate with site and regional leaders to embed a culture of continuous improvement and lean thinking in financial and operational practices.
- Support change management efforts related to new systems, tools, and ways of working to ensure smooth adoption and sustained impact.
Compliance & Internal Controls
- Ensure adherence to IFRS, internal policies, and audit readiness.
- Collaborate with Internal Control on compliance
- Manage sensitive transactions and access controls.
