The Opportunity
We're seeking a skilled Frontend Software Engineer to take ownership of our web platform's user experience. You'll work on poliigon.com, crafting performant interfaces that serve millions of creative professionals worldwide. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a significant impact on our product while working with a collaborative, fully remote team.
Our current stack runs on Vue 2/Nuxt 2, presenting an exciting opportunity for the right engineer to help guide our eventual migration to modern frameworks while delivering exceptional features today.
What You'll Do
Build and optimize user interfaces for poliigon.com, creating seamless experiences that delight our creative community
Architect solutions using component-based design patterns and Vue/Nuxt best practices
Own quality end-to-end, from development through testing in local and production environments
Champion performance, ensuring our application meets Core Web Vitals targets and delivers lightning-fast experiences
Collaborate closely with engineers through code reviews and architectural discussions
Integrate efficiently with our APIs, occasionally contributing to backend services (Node.js/MySQL)
Drive innovation by leveraging AI-powered development tools (Cursor, Windsurf) to maximize productivity
What We're Looking For
Required Experience
5+ years of software development experience
2+ years building production applications with Vue.js and Nuxt.js
Strong expertise in component architecture and modern JavaScript
Proven track record optimizing web performance and Core Web Vitals
Experience with server-side rendering (SSR) and API integration
Self-directed QA mindset with thorough testing practices
Proficiency with AI-integrated development environments
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of Vue 2/Nuxt 2 ecosystem (experience with Vue 3 is a plus)
Node.js and MySQL for API development
Performance optimization techniques and monitoring
Strong grasp of responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
Git workflow and collaborative development practices
