About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled full-stack developer with deep expertise in Shopify, Node.js, and either the MEAN or MERN stack to join our growing e-commerce business. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding our Shopify-based website, integrating third-party services and APIs, and supporting internal operational tools built on modern JavaScript frameworks.
This is a full-time remote role with a UK-based schedule.
You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of owning both front-end and back-end responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and customize our existing Shopify storefront (Liquid, JavaScript, HTML, CSS)
- Build and extend custom features for Shopify Markets (multi-region, multi-currency)
- Integrate and maintain third-party apps and APIs (e.g., payment, shipping, CRM, analytics)
- Manage and optimize backend tools built with Node.js and MongoDB
- Build/maintain user interfaces and internal dashboards using React/Angular
- Sync data between Shopify and our backend (e.g., order processing, pricing, tagging)
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
- Collaborate with UK-based team members to understand business needs and deliver solutions quickly.
Required Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3+ years of professional experience with Shopify development
- Strong command of Liquid templating, Shopify Admin API, and Storefront API
- Solid back-end development experience with Node.js and MongoDB
- Experience building SPAs or admin tools with React or Angular
- Strong grasp of RESTful APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations
- Experience with Shopify Markets, multi-currency/multi-region setup is a plus
- Ability to manage deployments, troubleshoot issues, and handle full-stack tasks independently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Working Hours & Conditions
Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM UK Time (45-minute break included)
Fully remote – must have stable internet and ability to attend daily calls
