Objectives

We are looking for a Growth Director for SME Business Unit to build and grow the SME segment by developing long-term business growth strategies and overseeing the implementation across functions to achieve ambitious targets. You will be the mini-CEO in our organization, together making a huge impact on the sustainable growth of PMAX and Pinpoint - pinpoint.com.vn.

Job Description

Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Agency Experience: Familiar with agency operations, service packaging to deliver integrated marketing solutions, and revenue models. Able to adapt agency offerings to the SME segment efficiently.

  • Entrepreneurial Business Ownership: Passionate about building and scaling a business from the ground up; thrives on owning the full business scope—from product development to go-to-market and operations. Comfortable making high-stakes decisions, owning P&L, and working without a playbook.

  • Deep Marketing Expertise: Strong strategic and executional knowledge in marketing—from brand strategy to performance and digital channels—capable of connecting marketing activities with real business outcomes.

  • Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Naturally analytical and solutions-oriented, strong structured thinking ability, proven through leading strategic initiatives, resolving operational bottlenecks, or designing scalable models.

Job Details

Build operation model

  • Conduct related research to benchmark, hypothesize and test the business model from zero to one.
  • Build and upgrade the strategy to deliver aggressive growth for the unit.
  • Set ambitious business objectives and development goals, develop a detailed business plan, and implement effective action plans for achieving set targets.
  • Monitor market trends, demand vs. supply, and make adjustments in terms of strategy and planning where necessary.

Client acquisition

  • Develop plans and execute/lead the execution to acquire potential clients for the business units.
  • Supervise the day-to-day operation of the business development team.
  • Design attractive schemes and implement an effective sales process to boost the performance of the business development team.

Team establishment & management

  • Design the org chart of the unit.
  • Conduct analysis to improve team structure and way of working to drive growth and productivity.
  • Oversee the interviewing, recruitment, and training of qualified personnel to ensure an effective workforce.
  • Set targets/KPIs for the whole unit.

Performance management

  • Manage the P&L of the unit.
  • Supervise and direct the day-to-day operation of the unit to ensure that the unit is meeting its goals.
  • Monitor the plan & activities of the functional managers/leads to ensure compliance with set standards and procedures for operation.
  • Conduct analysis to generate insight and recommend changes as may be required.

Job Requirements

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must have
    • Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 3+ years experience in the role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Proven business management experience with a minimum of 2 years in the B2B field.
    • Exceptional leadership and management skills.
    • Strong partnership and client service mindset, act toward win-win-win situations.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills.
    • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
    • Sufficient business acumen with strong influencing, persuading, and project management skills.
  • Good to have
    • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing.
    • In-depth understanding with experiences in agency businesses.
