Responsibilities:
- Giving support regarding statutory HSE and Freudenberg HSE requirements.
- Developing and proposing objectives and targets and reporting to the employer on progress in achieving them.
- Conducting HSE inspections / audits and assessments on plant installations and technical equipment both during the test phase and prior to normal operation. The same procedure applies when working methods are changed or introduced.
- Developing, supporting and monitoring the implementation of a systematic hazard identification and risk assessment procedure and training all employees to carry out risk assessments.
- Giving support regarding planning, implementation and maintenance of plant installations, purchasing of technical equipment and the introduction of working methods and materials selection and evaluation of PPE, design and layout of workplaces, working sequences, the working environment and all other ergonomic and environmental issues.
Qualifications:
- University degree, technical / process engineering degree or other technically oriented academic studies or other academic studies related to HSE with 3 years’ experience in engineering or process operations.
- 5 years of plant level experience in HSE system management.
- Understanding of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
