Key responsibilities:
Ensure the efficient operation of production equipment, machinery, and instruments by performing maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and servicing at the factory.
Key tasks:
- Maintenance of electrical, mechanical, instrumentation and utilities systems.
- Optimizing processes and overseeing projects related to safety, fire protection, and environmental conservation.
- Executing tasks and aligning development initiatives with the directives of the Hempel Group and general requirements
- Maintaining departmental documentation in accordance with the ISO protocols.
- Implementing inspection, repair, and maintenance schedules for equipment.
- Enhancing processes, increasing efficiency, and introducing improvements.
- Ensuring compliance with high standards of health, safety, and environmental protection at the workplace, aligned with the Hempel Group's standards
- Where required maintain, order and return supplies to/ from maintenance stores
Required education, experience and job-related skills:
- Min. Advance Diploma / Degree
- Proven engineering maintenance experience in a manufacturing, filling and packaging.
- Experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries
- Experience in improving production processes, product quality and work organization
- Experience working with Lean Manufacturing
- Knowledge of ISO
- Computer literacy
