POSITION INFORMATION & ROLE MISSION:
Product Engineer is responsible for the analysis of methods, develop processes, prepare tools and follow setuping systems required for the company’s manufacturing and fabrication activities.
Ensure the production line operates continuously, minimizing downtime and achieving good yield in production.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and maintain manufacturing process document, such as Method Sheet - a clear instruction to assist operators, Daily Check Sheet – a checklist to ensure equipment is setup correctly, or machine is in good condition.
- Create Instruction document to instruct operators do some rework activities, or specific ones.
- Provide alternative solutions to solve problems, coordinates the implementation of Engineering Change Orders (ECO).
- Provide analysis of plant and workstation layouts for determination of proper method or tools, including job cost analysis and cost reduction improvements.
- Set up and maintain the manufacturing process, balance/improve the manufacturing process to optimize the resources/reduce the cycle time of product to achieve the high efficiency.
- Follow up and coordinate with team, and/or other departments to maintain and improve the production yield.
- Performs complex research and analysis tasks on product developer requirements, customer requirements, marketing requirements and system requirements.
- Involves in the selection of the most appropriate and cost-effective manufacturing engineering tools, machines, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.
- Supports production and purchasing in creating and maintaining appropriate manufacturing documentation and training.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial management)
- Primary Language: Fluent English; written and verbal communication
- Experience: 1+ years in manufacturing environment, equipment services

- SOFTWARE PROGRAMMINGS: Have fundamental knowledge about programming language (VB6, C#), and database structure (MS Access, MS SQL). We might have to learn new language/software/tool during working on the machines.
- ANALYSIS TOOLS: Have ability to use software to analysis data (MS EXCEL, Power BI) for troubleshooting.
