Mold Design Leader

Mô tả công việc:

• Evaluating the feasibility of tooling for a layup, PCM, trimming, gluing, cooling, and assembly during RFQ
• Design and review tooling (layup, PCM, trimming, gluing, cooling, assembly) for manufacturing and prepare mold/jig request sheet.
• Change or optimize tooling to facilitate the end users and solve existing problems.
• Prepare tooling instructions as guidelines to train the operators.
• Trouble-shooting and problem-solving for tooling during manufacturing
• Perform DFMEA for tooling design and Lesson-learned knowledge database.
• Working close with process engineers and product engineers to solve problems of product development
• Supporting any R&D activities/projects in technical department

Yêu cầu công việc:

• 3-5 years of experience working as a design engineer/ leaderin the plastic molding, stamping mold, or tooling manufacturing industry.
• Experience withsurfacingprocesses is preferred.
• Knowledge of GT&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) is required.
• Proficiency in using NX and SolidWorks for 3D molding, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in a composites manufacturing environment is a plus.
• College degree in engineering or technology is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.
