Each People Business Partner reports directly to the regional Head of P&C. Each People Business Partner is paired with another designated People Business Partner during their absences, allowing them to act as deputies for each other.
Impact and purpose of the job
The People Business Partner as a member of the People & Culture team proactively focuses on enabling the company to retain, engage and develop the right people and organizational setup according to todays and future business needs.
The People Business Partner is a consultant and sparring partner for global, regional, and country senior leaders (i.e. Practice Head / Market Unit Head / Function Head) on all strategic and tactical People & Culture topics.
The People Business Partner has a true understanding of the business and its needs and can translate people actions out of it. With this, they act as an interface for any People & Culture Centres of Expertise to the Business and vice versa. The People Business Partners act as one team with a global approach and very close collaboration within the People & Culture Function.
The People Business Partner works as a coach, advisor, and consultant with a People & Culture generalist approach, facilitates the key people processes and fosters an inclusive environment.
The People Business Partner acts as the Change Ambassador for the company, navigating organisational and cultural transitions while minimising disruption and maintaining employee engagement.
The People Business Partner is a developer and implementer of People & Culture projects that constantly aim to represent Zühlke to provide a place of work being state of the art.
Active contribution to development and implementation of the Group P&C strategy in line with the respective business strategy and its goals.
Active participation to business / leadership meetings as the trusted partner to business and as the representative of P&C.
Establish a people agenda in collaboration with the senior leaders to ensure we have the right people in the right role with the right skills – today and tomorrow.
Continuous partnership with respective senior leader(s) on ensuring the right organisational setup of their practice.
Act as a trusted advisor to people leads and employees, addressing issues and providing guidance on employee relations and complex labour law related matters except questions to / concerns about existing policies and guidelines.
Utilise data analytics as a base line for concluding to informed decisions and identification / implementation of actions.
Partner with the senior leaders to analyse engagement survey results and identify targeted actions to derive initiatives to enhance employee engagement.
Drives and facilitates recurring P&C processes e.g. salary & promotion reviews, performance management, talent, and succession planning.
Understanding and effectively navigating cultural differences for fostering successful communication, inclusive culture, and collaboration within a global organization, promoting cultural awareness.

Education and professional experience (if applicable)
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in human resources, business administration, psychology, or related fields to provide the foundational knowledge.
Proven experience in different HR roles, especially as People Business Partner, preferably with a mix of strategic and operational responsibilities.
Experience supporting an employee population across multiple functions and locations.
In-depth knowledge of labour laws, regulations, and P&C best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Proficiency in HRIS systems such as Workday and SuccessFactors, as well as tools to effectively manage data, processes, and reporting.
Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance standards relevant to the organization's industry (professional services, IT sector).
