Position Summary: As a Product Owner, you will lead the development and execution of product initiatives, acting as the main link between business stakeholders and development teams. You will ensure that the team delivers high quality products by guiding the agile development process and aligning the product vision with business goals. Key accountabilities and responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact between technical teams and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment in product vision and successful delivery. - Define and manage the product backlog, including writing user stories, prioritizing features, and refining requirements. - Using modern tools that help gather and analyse business requirements more efficiently. - Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot for requirements work. - Knowing how to communicate effectively with AI tools to get optimal results. - Guide the development process, from sprint planning to reviews, to ensure the timely delivery of product features. - Communicate regularly with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment on product goals. - Proactively identify and address risks, challenges, and opportunities throughout the product lifecycle. - Own and manage release planning, ensuring that releases meet business needs and timelines. - Conduct market research and analyze competitors to ensure the product stays competitive. - Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure the product delivers a great user experience. - Monitor key metrics to track product performance and make data-driven decisions for future improvements. Skills, knowledge, experience & qualifications: - Strong understanding of agile development methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban. - At least 4 years of experience in product management or a related role. - Proven experience in leading product development from concept to launch. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements. - Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges. - Familiarity with UX/UI design principles and experience in working closely with design teams. - Strong analytical skills with experience in using data to drive decisions. Pay & Bill Services Expertise - Hands-on experience with compensation management systems including salary calculations, bonus structures, and employee reimbursements - Strong understanding of invoice processing workflows from creation to approval and payment execution - Experience with timesheet and time-tracking systems including project billing, hourly rate management, and approval processes - Knowledge of expense management systems and reimbursement workflows - Understanding of payroll processing including tax calculations, deductions, and compliance requirements - Familiarity with vendor payment systems and purchase-to-pay processes - Experience with budget tracking and cost allocation across departments and projects Critical Thinking & Attention to Detail - Exceptional attention to detail with ability to identify discrepancies in financial data and processes - Strong logical reasoning skills for troubleshooting complex payment and billing issues - Experience with data validation and reconciliation to ensure accuracy in financial transactions - Ability to design robust approval workflows that prevent errors and ensure compliance - Skills in process optimization to reduce manual errors and improve efficiency - Experience with audit preparation and documentation of financial processes - Problem-solving expertise in resolving payment discrepancies and system issues
