Job Description
- Develop, maintain, and execute test scripts using tools like JMeter, K6, or equivalents for performance, integration, and security testing (aligned with OWASP top 10).
- Review game design specs to define test cases, tools, and checklists for QA requirements.
- Collaborate with programmers, QA, and training teams to create effective test procedures for all game features.
- Propose and build automation tools or scripts to optimize and reduce manual testing efforts.
- Participate in QA testing for unreleased games; detect, reproduce, and validate bugs from internal or live environments.
- Maintain technical documentation, support production with clear checklists, and contribute to a growing automated test suite.
- Assist team members in automation practices and continuously seek innovative testing solutions with the development team.
Qualifications
Experience
- Strong coding skills for programming languages like Python, JavaScript, C#, and Java.
- Experience with story management and testing tools: JMeter, K6, JIRA, Trello.
- Experience with RESTful APIs and system integrations.
- Experience with SQL databases and NoSQL.
- Experience with Gitlab or Bitbucket, Docker, CI/CD.
- Experience in integration testing, performance testing, and security testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum is a plus.
Knowledge
- Good knowledge of testing components: Unit testing, Smoke testing, Functional testing, Integration testing, Performance testing, and Regression testing.
- Good understanding of the four levels of software testing: Unit, System, Integration, and Acceptance.
- Good knowledge: multi-platforms, network programming, computer science fundamentals in data structures and design patterns..., and any new technology/language implied by work-related technology evolution.
- Very good at researching and learning new tech.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to new technical changes as per project needs.
- Good awareness of AWS cloud platforms and on Web security (OWASP,...).
