About the Role:
As a member of the Surprises Quality Team, the Resident Quality Engineer role ensures that finished products and production processes meet Ferrero’s high standards for quality, safety, and compliance. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence and driving continuous improvement across the production lifecycle.
Main Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance of finished products with Ferrero quality standards
- Monitor and enforce compliance of production processes
- Manage operational controls and supervise final inspections and related testing
- Conduct and support root cause analyses, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions
- Participate actively in the toy development process from a quality assurance perspective.
- Lead and manage continuous audit activities
- Oversee production processes and associated control points
- Ensure adherence to the Ferrero Quality Manual and Code of Conduct throughout the production process
- Collaborate with the Food Safety Team to enhance food safety and quality standards within the plant
- Set up, implement, and monitor Quality Management System (QMS) and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) procedures within assigned scope
- Ensure strict compliance with applicable laws, internal guidelines, and contractual standards
Who we are looking for:
- Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Food Science, or a related field
- Experience in quality assurance or production process management, preferably in the food or toy industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Familiarity with QMS and FSMS frameworks
- Detail-orientation with a commitment to continuous improvement
- Good knowledge of MS Office tools
- Fluency in English and Vietnamese, written and spoken
