Role overview
- Lead and manage the full scope of HR operations to ensure accurate payroll processing, compliant HR administration, efficient benefits operations, and effective expatriate employee support. Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and ensure adherence to internal policies and legal regulations.
What you’ll be doing
1. Payroll Management:
- Oversee monthly payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with labor laws and internal controls
- Manage relationships with payroll vendors, ensuring service quality, timely reporting, and data integrity
- Lead year-end activities including PIT finalization, salary declarations, and audit support
- Provide reports related to compensation, benefits and employee.
2. Employee data & Benefits Administration:
- Manage day-to-day operations of employee benefits programs: insurance, leave, allowances, and recognition schemes
- Ensure accurate administration of employee records, contracts, and lifecycle events (onboarding, transfer, exit) in HRIS and personnel files
- Coordinate benefit-related communication and ensure understanding and access among employees
3. Compliance & Risk Management:
- Ensure all HR operations are in compliance with local labor law, internal audit standards, and group HR policies
- Support HR audits, labor inspections, and risk assessments with accurate documentation and reporting
- Maintain strict confidentiality and security of employee records and data.
4. Process & Continuous Improvement:
- Review and streamline HR administrative processes for efficiency, scalability, and consistency
- Collaborate with HRIS and relevant teams to automate or digitize key operational tasks
- Monitor SLAs and service quality, and drive root cause resolution for recurring issues
5. Expatriate Administration:
- Collaborate with Global Mobility team to manage employment contracts, assignment terms, and cost allocation for expatriates and international transfers
- Coordinate with Finance, Legal, and external service providers to ensure compliant employment structures and payroll arrangements for expatriate staff
6. Team Collaboration & Support:
- Partner with P&C team to ensure seamless HR operations across functions
- Support employee inquiries and escalations regarding HR services and policies
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience in HR operations, with a focus on compensation and benefits.
- Strong working knowledge of payroll, labor regulations, benefits schemes, and expatriate employment in Vietnam
- Experience working with HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors), payroll platforms, and data reporting tools- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and discretion in handling sensitive information
- Strong collaboration, communication, and process management abilities
