Role Purpose
Work as part of IHG Revenue service team, supporting the fast-paced NHOP team as well as handling a portfolio of hotels directly. The PRS is helping to set the RM strategy, tools and systems for all properties under his/her scope. Manage the development, implementation and assessment of revenue-related strategies for hotels, encompassing all facets of pricing, demand analysis, yield management, market segmentation, business mix optimization, selling strategies and tactics in accordance with company policies and industry best practices. Assist leadership of regional teams and hotels by providing revenue management strategies and tactics to maximize revenue and profit streams.
Drive the development, implementation and operation of both strategic and tactical programs designed to enhance revenue management services penetration and deliver significant competitive advantage for the Hotel. Incumbent will be responsible for the performance and business trend analysis, process evaluation, budgeting, field-level training, and deployment of Company resources to achieve strategic objectives
Key Accountabilities
Ensure successful completion of the NHOP Checklist tasks supporting the hotel and support centre teams with:
- Systems – GRS, RMS, Finance System, OTAs, Costar and Business Analytics tools as required
- Competitor set – Natural RGI analysis and Costar
- Tools – Demand calendar, Inventory Workbook and NHOP Opening Tracker
- Budget and Forecast –Stubb Year and Budget in segmentation by month
- Pricing– NHOP opening offers, corporate, group and wholesale
Besides Pre-opening task, the portfolio Revenue Specialist might also be led to :

Manage the revenue function across a portfolio of hotels, developing and managing short, medium, and long-term strategies for
profitable revenue generation and capture as set out in each hotels Service Level Agreement -
Be responsible for pro-actively and cost effectively maximizing hotel room revenues, RevPAR and system delivery to achieve superior
performance in comparison to the competitive set as measured in RGI and *against budget growth targets - Develop strategy to achieve overall hotel revenue.
- Analyze competitor and market pricing and trends to come with the right pricing strategy by segment and for each revenue stream
- Perform ongoing system health-checks
- Create and present forecast for all Revenue Streams
- Prepare for and conduct Revenue meetings in line with the Revenue Management Cycle for all revenue streams to identify risks opportunities, potential revenue driving activities or strategic direction shifts
- Actively participate Yearly budgeting for all revenue streams along with the hotel team
- Participate in business reviews meetings with both corporate and owners
- Analyse and report on EOM performance
Qualifications –
- Min 5 years’ experience in Revenue Management, ideally in all revenue streams Revenue Management Tools and Systems (Ideas, Duetto, EzRMS, Concerto, or other RMS)
Technical Skills and Knowledge :
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to impact and influence remotely
- Strong Excel Skills
- System and Technology savvy
