A Day in the Life

Serve as a clinical sales specialist: provide case support in hospitals, build physician confidence, and ensure safe/efficient product use + deliver MKT activities inasssigned territory.

This role will spend time mostly on the field and the enjoy flexibility on work schedule depending on the work demand. There might be a requirement for on-call for some case.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Promotes and sells Medtronic's products and services within an assigned geographic area and /or specific customer accounts to meet or exceed sales targets.

  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including distributors and healthcare professionals.

  • Responsible for pursuing leads, assessing needs and providing product services to maximize the benefits derived from Medtronic's products and/or services.

  • Promotes and establishes education of the company's products and/or services.

  • Conducts market research including customers and competitors activities.

  • Implements market development plans/strategies and changes as needed.

  • Communicates customer feedback on new products and/or modifications to existing products or applications to internal stakeholders including R&D, Operations and Marketing.

1. Sales & Business Contribution

  • Manage ~50% of the North territory with accountability for ~25% of total Aortic revenue.

  • Drive market growth and maintain Medtronic’s leadership position.

2. Clinical & Technical Competence

  • Serve as a clinical sales specialist: provide case support in hospitals, build physician confidence, and ensure safe/efficient product use + deliver MKT activities inasssigned territory

  • Willingness to learn complex aortic portfolio and continuously upskill on clinical knowledge.

3. Personal Attributes & Teamwork

  • High dedication, strong work ethic, resilience under pressure.

  • Collaborative mindset – able to work closely with peers, clinical specialists, and cross-functional teams.

4. Customer Engagement & Relationship Building

  • Build trusted partnerships with physicians and hospital stakeholders.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to support both sales and clinical needs.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing or related field

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in the healthcare field.
